Story
At Phinch, we are passionate about making a positive impact in our community, which is why we are excited to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Weston Hospicecare. By participating in this challenging trek, we hope to not only push our physical limits but also to unite as a team for a noble cause. We believe that our efforts can help enhance the quality of life for those facing terminal illnesses and contribute to a lasting legacy of compassion and support within our community. Every step we take on this journey will be for the benefit of those who rely on the invaluable services of Weston Hospicecare. Seb and David are funding the entire trip including accommodation, food, transport etc. meaning that the charity will benefit from 100% of the donations pledged.
Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult, not just for the patient but also for their loved ones. The team help guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. With only 20% of the funding coming from the NHS, they have to raise £5.5 million each year to fund care - something that's only made possible by our community.
