The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide each year is around 34,000.

I am taking on the 34k Challenge for Suicide&Co, with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000 to help Suicide&Co to continue to achieve their mission of supporting individuals bereaved by suicide, and provide people with counselling sessions through Suicide&Co's Counselling Service.

One counselling session costs Suicide & Co £30, so if someone donates £30 then they are funding a counselling session for someone bereaved by suicide.

Each team’s target for the challenge is £1000, which equates to 33 counselling sessions. If we, along with everyone else taking part in this challenge can raise £34,000, this will provide 1133 counselling sessions for individuals bereaved by suicide
