Story
Cancer is a disease that can affect anyone, at any time. It's a harsh reality that hit close to home when one of my closest friends was diagnosed with stage 2 Nasopharyngeal cancer - a rare form of cancer that affects less than 260 people in the UK each year. It was devastating news, but my friend fought hard and after 35 daily radiotherapy sessions and 6 chemotherapy cycles, he received the all-clear. But the journey doesn't end there - recovery is a long road.
That's why I'm participating in the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon 2024 along with the Cardiff bay 10k to raise funds for Cancer Research Wales. With your support, we can help fund vital research and support services for those affected by cancer. Join me in making a difference by donating to this cause.
Let's come together to fight this disease and make a positive impact on the world.
