Story

On the 5 July I will take on an 11 mile trail across Hadrian’s Wall. However, if I raise my target of £500 I shall change it to 22 miles. I’m naturally quite lazy so this is a great challenge for me. As so many of you know, Marie Curie are amazing and their support in Mum’s final weeks made everything so much easier, allowing me and the family to spend quality time with Mum. So I’m doing this walk in memory of Mum, but to also raise money for this amazing charity, so other families get to have the same support we did.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.

£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.

£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
