On 8th October I’m embarking on a bit of a dream trip cycling 500 miles of the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to L.A. with a team from More Adventure. It’s going to be an epic journey!
I’m raising money for a charity close to my heart. The staff and 250 volunteers at Wandsworth Foodbank do amazing work providing emergency food, support and advice to local people who are experiencing financial hardship. But donations are needed.
Over 11000 food parcels (1 in 3 for local children) were provided last year, a 90% increase on 5 years ago.
The Foodbanks give so much more than food; they provide a lifeline to hundreds of people facing crisis; and do amazing work to try to end the need for foodbanks.
