Story
People facing homelessness walk until their feet hurt and their energy runs out. They walk to access support, to keep warm and to avoid danger. After all that they have nowhere safe to stop and rest. So I'm walking so they don't have to.
Oasis Community Housing is close to my heart having realised recently I had a part in it's founding many years ago.

Every person we support has their own story. The people Oasis Community Housing work with have been subjected to a host of struggles: abuse, addiction, honour-based violence, trafficking, mental ill-health and homelessness.
£5 could provide safe travel to emergency accommodation
£15 could provide a pair of shoes and socks that fit. Many people rough sleeping wear ill-fitting, damaged and painful footwear
£50 could provide a move-in pack for new residents in our supported accommodation (includes pots, pans, towels and bedding)
£100 could provide a week’s emergency accommodation for someone in housing crisis
I'm walking a mile a day during Lent, each day with a quote, Bible verse or information from the projects to inspire me to do what we can to bring hope - not homelessness.
