At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

In April last year I applied for a place in the 2025 London Marathon.

Much to my surprise I was offered a place over the past few months I have gradually been building up my fitness. On Monday 6th January I will be starting my 16 week training programme leading to the 26.2 mile run around the streets of London April 27th.

To make the training less arduous I will be raising funds for The Alzheimer’s Society a charity very close to my heart as I lost my Mother in 2024 from the horrible illness. Many of you will have your own experiences of dementia.

Any funds you can give will be greatly appreciated by the charity and also by me to make my training worthwhile
