Story
Aged 44, fit and healthy Phil Baldwin died of a cardiac arrest as a result of a cardiac arrhythmia – an underlying undiagnosed heart condition. There was no prior warning.
One of the kindest people you could ever meet, Phil was a devoted husband to Anna and father to Ben and Fern, who were aged 6 and 4 when they lost their daddy in April 2024.
If you’d like to find out more about the incredible person Phil was, you can read about him here.
You can help something positive come from this tragic loss.
The British Heart Foundation is a world-leading UK-based charity. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. Including young, fit and healthy people like Phil.
It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to support the fantastic work of this important charity.
