Story

On 27th April this year we will be cycling over 200 miles from London to Paris in 3 days, in memory of Phil's Dad, John Morgan and in support of Stu's Dad, Pete Morgan. We're raising money for the Rare Dementia Support Service (RDS) and Alzheimers Society, two charities very close to our hearts.

Phil's Dad, John, passed away 25 years ago this year, after being diagnosed in his early forties with a rare form of early onset dementia. Being a similar age ourselves we felt it was an apt time to raise some money and awareness for this charity, which not only funds research but also supports those affected and their young families.

A couple of years ago, Stu's Dad, Pete, was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s which impacts him and the family on a daily basis. Despite Alzheimer’s disease being the most common cause of Dementia, there is yet no current cure. Like RDS, the Society invests in research to battle the many forms of dementia, whilst supporting those families affected.

The fact that neither of us have ridden a bike for over 30 years could be a slight issue but we're going to give it a good crack and one way or another, we'll make sure we get to Paris, croissant & chafing cream in hand!

Any donations however small are hugely appreciated and to support both charities equally, please feel free to split any donation 50/50 between pages - 100% of money raised + gift aid will go directly to the charities.

Thank you very much!
