After 15 years I am returning yet again to Sierra Leone to take part in the half marathon for Street Child. I've been a supporter of Street Child for over 15 years now, and their mission is very close to my heart. The team works tirelessly in the toughest conditions and is thrilled that we are coming back to support them again. This event creates so much excitement in Sierra Leone and is now their largest major sporting event.

I can honestly assure you that the thousands of pounds you have donated to me for this charity continues to do the most amazing work. Giving hope to those who really have nothing.

So here I am again with my begging bowl asking you to help me - if only because walking 21 km in the searing heat and the sweltering humidity for a woman my age is really chore!
