Story
I had the privilege to serve along side Pete on two operational tours whilst both posted to 1 Sqn RAF Regt.
However, sadly Pete made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq in 2007. Since then his parents have tried to raise funds for a new incubator for the Countess of Chester hospital.
The very hospital that helped save the life of Peter when he was first born.
Now I, along with some close friends and brothers of 1 Sqn RAF Regiment both past and present are going to be raising money for this very worthy cause.
I along with some great friends will be competing in various organised and self driven events until we reach our goal.
First being this October completing in the Hyrox Dublin doubles along side Kieran Maher. DONE !
The second being Remembrance weekend, I along with Jack Lawton will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48hrs, starting on Friday 10th Nov straight through to remembrance Sunday with a view to finishing at 11:11am DONE!
Next on the 23rd Dec is a TAB (tactical advance to battle), a speed march for 30miles carrying 55lbs Bergan
I will be posting each event on this page as WE progress on this journey.
Our GOAL as mentioned, is to raise enough money to buy a incubator and have it in Pete's name.
These however are in the region of £30k, so I intend to push the limits, no matter long it takes and in doing so I hope people recognise the sacrifice and are able to contribute to the already outstanding work that Pete's family have done.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting this page and hope you can donate, no matter how small.
