In 2022 Peters daughter Zoe was diagnosed with Breast Cancer aged just 29. Over the course of the next 12 months Zoe underwent many hospital visits which culminated in four surgical procedures. These were then followed by 12 sessions of chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiotherapy. Zoe has come out of this incredibly strongly and has made her family proud with both her courage and strength.

The Christies at Macclesfield have been fantastic in the way that they looked after Zoe and as a thank you to them, Peter Mountford (Zoes dad), Paul Lewis and Chris Jones have entered the Manchester 100km bike ride and any sponsorship raised will be to help Christes continue the great work that they do.
