Story
"Saving species from extinction is a complicated puzzle. There’s no quick fix and the challenges we face are immense. Wildlife veterinary expertise is vital for controlling disease, giving the right medical treatment to reduce suffering, and successfully rehabilitating endangered animals."
As a trustee of Wildlife Vets International, I am all too aware of the costs associated with conservation projects taking place around the world. We have created many of the problems that exist and have a responsibility to address this in whatever way we can. For many of us, that means monetary support for those carrying out vital work.
The Fred Whitton Challenge is a 112 mile cycling challenge around the Lake District with around 10,425 feet of ascent and reputed to be the toughest sportive in the UK! I'll be giving it me best shot on 12th May and greatly appreciate all encouragement in the form of donations made for WVI.
Many thanks for your support!
