Story

Ever wondered about how we can help young people navigate the multiple challenges they face today? For the last 25 years, Bath-based charity Mentoring Plus (https://mentoringplus.net/) has been doing exactly that - supporting children and young people struggling with school, family or wellbeing. And for just 4 of those years I've been a volunteer mentor. I've seen what a difference it can make to a child's confidence, providing them with them with support and guidance to stay on the right track.

I last ran a half-marathon in early 2020 and decided that it would be my last, especially after a recurring Achilles injury. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Mentoring Plus needs support more than ever, and so I decided to abandon my retirement plans and raise money for this important cause - in the Bath half marathon (21Km) on 15th October.

Please help! Your sponsorship will not only motivate me during those gruelling 13 miles but also make a tangible difference to Mentoring Plus - ensuring young people get on the right track. Thank you so much in advance for your generosity!
