Story
When I was last in Rwanda I met up with a group of girls who had been subject to sexual abuse . We have helped this group before by giving them a sewing machine and some training so they can make clothes for themselves but more importantly make and sell clothes so that they have some independent income to keep them safe from further abuse.
However there is some concern that the government may stipulate that if you wish to sell to the public you will need a certificate from an approved college. The all-inclusive cost of this certificate would be £250 and with 10 girls in the group we are seeking to raise £2500 to ensure that these girls are fully trained.
