London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

On Sunday 27th April 2025, one of the most iconic marathons in the world returns to the spring season to take over the streets of London.

Story

In memory of my Mum, Jill Elfick I am running the 2025 London Marathon.

All monies raised will be going to St Wilfrids Hospice Eastbourne.

I am going for it- the target is to raise £5000. And to run the Marathon under 4 hours! Reckon I can do it? I can only give it a go, with some help!

Jilly was a volunteer at the Hailsham hospice shop for 10 years, and continued working there right up to when she became poorly. She was part of a great team of volunteers, who along with many customers of the shop miss her a lot.

I haven’t completed the London Marathon before, and so 2025 will be the perfect opportunity to do it in memory of Mum’s dedication to the hospice, to highlight the valuable contribution that all volunteers make, and to help raise some money.

Any donation that you feel you can make would be really appreciated- by me, Mum and everyone involved with the hospice.

Thanks, Peter 🏃🏼‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏼‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏼‍♂️‍➡️
