Story
Meet Group 124 of the HCPT (The Hosanna House Children Pilgrimage Trust). Each Easter they take 7 to 10 disabled and disadvantaged children on a weeklong, fun packed holiday to Lourdes in the South of France, offering their families much needed respite from the significant challenges they face in providing daily care.
The group is run by a friend, Fiona and my sister-in-law is one of the volunteers. The group spend much of the year fundraising the £1200 it costs to take each child with much of the cost of their own trip coming out of their own pockets.
This year I am doing something I thought I would never do and running my first marathon (the London Marathon) to help with the fundraising challenge. With your support I would love to raise enough to cover the cost of at least one child, if not two. So go ahead and click donate. It’s for the kids, not me!
