I am taking a stand to support survivors of sexual violence!

Did you know? Between April 2019 and March 2020, almost 650 rapes and over 1,500 sexual assaults were reported to Gwent Police.

Statistics are useful, but they dont describe the trauma and psychological pain that survivors of rape and sexual assault experience or the number that felt unable to report their assault to the Police.

Horizon believes all survivors of rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse should have access to the support they need, when they need it. Demand for their sexual violence support services is greater than ever.

Survivors of sexual violence may appear to be invisible, but they are the people we work with; meet at school or university; our friends or family members.

Together we can make sure survivors across Gwent get the support they need, every step of the way.
