Lymphoedema is a swelling that develops as a result of an impaired lymphatic system. This may be as a result of the lymphatic system not developing properly or through damage or trauma, such as Cancer treatments. It can affect any part of the body but is most commonly seen in an arm or a leg. I am supporting the LSN because it receives no government or statutory funding and relies on donations to do it's work and because I know just how challenging it can be for someone living with this condition.

I have a very good friend living with Lymphoedema and I am aware of how hard it can be for her.

I am riding to raise awareness and funds in support of this condition, in hope that this charity gets the recognition it deserves to be able to continue it's fabulous work.
