Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page.

Many of you will know or have worked with Ian, as you are visiting this page to donate. Like me I am sure, you would agree he is the most wonderful, funny, kind and intelligent person you could meet.

Ian retired at 58 and had plans to enjoy a long retirement with his lovely wife Renate. Unfortunately soon after retiring, Ian was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer's. This has changed both his and Renate's plans as you can imagine.

Ian is very aware of the impact that this illness is having on him, and those closest to him. Therefore ,he is actively doing all he can to fight back against his dementia, by taking part in trials, and activities; so he can help other sufferers fight and win their battle against this devastating illness.

In addition to talking to Ian, and seeing him as often as possible. I decided I would take on this 26 mile trek, with Ian and Renate's blessing, as I could not think of better way to help our dear friend.

Please, please donate, any amount, to help us progress towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
