Peter and Lin participated in the London Winter Walk half-marathon on Sunday January 26th. Lin was pushed in her wheelchair as she is in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease, having been diagnosed in 2019.

We completed the half-marathon in just over 4 hours in the most appalling weather. Lin was the star not complaining about being cold and wet and even managing to smile to random passers by!

Peter with help from the other team members pushed Lin(his wife of 52 years) around the 21km course in London. Alzheimer's is such a cruel disease and has stolen most of her abilities, including her ability to walk any distance.

Peter, her husband and full time carer is determined to help Alzheimer's Research UK "change the ending" of stories like my wife's and Find a Cure to this devastating disease which effects 1million people in the UK
