Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I am excited to share that I will be participating in The Big Walk 2024, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting Motor Neurone Disease Research at the University of Sheffield. The event will take place on June 28, 2024.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a devastating condition that affects the brain and nerves, and sadly, there is currently no cure. It is often misunderstood as a rare condition, but the truth is that 1 in every 300 people across all UK communities will develop MND in their lifetime. This means that many families and individuals are impacted by this terminal illness.
Every day, MND claims the lives of six people in the UK, with a third of those diagnosed losing their lives within just one year. It's heartbreaking to think that individuals succumb to this disease because there are no treatments available to stop its progression.
By supporting my fundraising efforts, you can help make a much-needed breakthrough in MND research come sooner. Your contribution will not only improve the lives of current patients but also have a lasting impact on future generations.
I am truly grateful for any donations towards my target amount of £300.
I know times are tough so anything you can spare is greatly appreciated. Your generosity will make a difference and bring hope to those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.
Please join me in making a positive change by donating today!
