Story
In January this year, we were faced with a huge shock when our Dad, Simon Penwright (52) was diagnosed with a Multifocal Glioblastoma, which for all those as unaware as us, is incurable Brain Cancer.
His condition is extremely rare meaning he's in-fact 1 in 7 million, however Brain Tumours are not & kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer!!
This came as a huge surprise to us and were astonished to find out that only 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. More awareness needs to be spread on this topic, so we plan to do exactly that ... and throw ourselves out of a plane in the meantime 😂💪🏼
Unfortunately this'll never be able to help our Dad, but together we can fund the fight, help to find a cure & one day our children and families will have a better chance.
The skydive is REALLY going to push us out of our comfort zones (we're quite literally 💩 it) but after seeing how strong and brave our Dad has been, it's the very least we can do. The skydive will take place on 3rd September 2023 (weather dependant) and even the smallest donation will be so so greatly appreciated.
Lots of Love, The Penwright Girls x
