We care for big cats and fund conservation to protect them from worldwide extinction

Story

This hamper worth around £160 (click GALLERY for what's inside) is a dream Christmas gift for any young animal lover. All raffle proceeds go to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, a centre dedicated to the conservation of wild cats, and Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 360 km² not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya, home to five critically endangered species – including the last two Northern White Rhinos on the planet – voted Africa's Leading Conservation Company 2022.

The Big Cat Sanctuary have a long-standing relationship with Ol Pejeta, supporting (among other things) their anti-poaching team by funding Drum the Springer Spaniel. The work of all the amazing Ol Pejeta human and dog teams is why there has been no poaching there for six years, giving hope to the Northern White Rhino, the Black Rhino, the Bayser's Oryx, the Grevy's Zebra and the Ostrich. It is also sanctuary to two families of chimpanzees, and for so many other wild animals who come and go.

I was fortunate enough to visit Ol Pejeta with the Big Cat Sanctuary team in September and I'm now raising £1,000 to support them both and the important work that they do. Please buy a ticket for this raffle for the chance to win this wonderful hamper for a lucky child. Anyone can donate (and I would be very grateful) BUT DRAW IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO UK RESIDENTS OVER 18. PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS TO BE ELIGIBLE.

There are also three Louie the Lion runner-up prizes from our friends at Jellycat worth £28.

This raffle ends on 11th December and will be drawn at random by a senior staff member of the Big Cat Sanctuary. If eligible, every £10 you donate is one entry to the draw, which is registered and licensed as a Small Society Raffle.
