Story
To support and celebrate my dear friend Emma Paterson I’m running the Great North Run to raising money for Headway - the brain injury association.
In April Emma suffered a severe head injury when she was knocked down. After several operations and some time on intensive care she is recovering slowly in the RVI. She is now able to eat and drink a little and have some conversations.
Brain injuries can be life changing and recovery slow but Headway offers support and advice to individuals, families and carers through this process.
