In May 2017, Penny's late husband, Malc was diagnosed Motor Neurone Disease. For those not familiar with MND, this incurable disease is horrific for both the sufferers and their loved ones, and Malc sadly passed away a year later. Weston Hospice, was invaluable to us in the months up to Malc's passing and in the years afterwards.

What most people don't realise is that only 20% of the funding to run the hospice comes from the government, and this vital service only manages to keep operating through fundraising events such as this - and the generosity of those who donate!

Penny and Russ will be taking part (after a few months of training!) in Strictly Fun Dancing 2023 on the 4th November at the Winter Gardens in Weston super Mare. We are doing this to raise money for Weston Hospice, in Malcolm's memory, and would be extremely greatful for any donation you may be able to give - no matter how small. Having had such strong support from the Hospice in our time of need, we wanted to give back so that others can receive the hospice's invaluable care.
