We want businesses across the area to take £50 from Derian House and turn it into much more! This is a challenge for companies of all sizes to fundraise for our children and families from April to July 2024. Which business will raise the most?

Story

This year we have decided to raise money for Derian House which is a children’s hospice and respite facility. Being a young carer myself and having worked with children who have special needs on multiple occasions, I have been able to see the importance of care and support in their lives.

Another reason for wanting to support Derian House is from witnessing the amazing support and care a close loved one and our family received when going through end-of-life care. We couldn’t have gotten through it without them, and I couldn’t begin to imagine the importance of this care for a child and their family going through this.

It was hard not to well up with tears learning about the important work Derian house are doing, you can learn more about it here -> https://lnkd.in/eTzyHVTh
