Some of you may know that in July last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer.There followed over 6 months of treatment - surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

I was helped through this with the help of family and friends to whom I will be forever grateful.

But I was also supported by an amazing charity called Maggie's. I cannot put into words how wonderful the staff and volunteers are. Their door is always open 9-5, no appointment needed. They provide information, help and advice in all aspects of cancer - physical, financial but most importantly, emotional support during one of the most difficult times of my life.

MAGGIES relies entirely on charitable donations and I have set up a Just Giving page to raise some money to help them with their wonderful work.

I won’t be sending Christmas cards this year so I can make a contribution instead.
