Many of you know that I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2023. Although the treatment was gruelling (chemo, lumpectomy surgery, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and now a daily pill til 2029) I have been incredibly fortunate and am happily now cancer free. My wonderful friend Alice was diagnosed just a couple of weeks after me at the age of 24, she is being extremely brave as her treatment for this horrid condition continues. Alice has organised a 125 mile bike ride from her village in Leicestershire, Old Dalby, to Sheringham in Norfolk which Paul and I are going to tackle together with about 50 others on Saturday 24th August. In doing so we will be raising money for the charity Hope Against Cancer. Join us?! Or we would be hugely grateful for any sponsorship. Thank you!
