Me and my niece Lauren are running the Manchester 10k for Meningitis Research Foundation because of the fabulous work they did for Katie. 

Katie was 5 weeks old when she contracted Meningitis. With the amazing effort from our wonderful NHS 🌈 She was in hospital 🏥 for 5 days, which was so traumatic, before being given the news we had been waiting for - she was better. 

Katie made a full recovery ❤️‍🩹 and is now a beautiful 😍 happy 😃 8 year old.
