Just a short six months ago I began as a part of the team at Neighbors Together. It did not take long to see how real the work we were doing was. Every day I am honored to be amongst such an incredible staff, full of such big hearts, who teach me so much about our work in human services. But the neighbors that have impacted me most are the ones we serve. Hearing someone's personal story of living in a tent before being displaced by the police, or seeing and hearing about how dangerous it is for women to be homeless yet seeing this number steadily increase, or watching a mother with young children come in with nowhere to go, and no resources to help her, that will really open your eyes to what reality can look like for so many. We raise these funds to support our programs and sustain our mission. These raised funds will go directly to supporting our programs!
