Story
Whether it’s in the UK or abroad in Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan and Ukraine, it feels like the British Red Cross has never been needed more.
Through conflict, flooding or food shortages and fires, families and communities are facing unimaginable hardship.
No matter how difficult or dangerous things get, the British Red Cross is ready to face these challenges, bringing comfort and aid when all hope and humanity feels lost.
I am walking the 621km Portuguese Camino de Santiago alone. I have raised money for a number of other charities by walking and running distances. I worked in Romania a number of times following the revolution in the early 90’s. I along with a team supported staff in the orphanages and developed much needed services ie GP practices. I feel strongly about supporting others experiencing the immense suffering caused by war.
