Story
I wasn't going to run LLHM this year but then not long before Christmas I saw this small charity still required sponsors. When I read about their work, it struck a chord with me (having lost a cousin in childhood) and I decided I wanted to help them.
I would be very grateful if you could spare any money and donate to the Harvey Hext Trust.
The Harvey Hext Trust is a small national charity that supports children who's sibling or parent has died.
The charity supplies beautiful bespoke Memory boxes and Memory bears via bereavement services across the UK.
We have recently started to supply hospitals and hospices with beautiful holdalls for families to use to transport their Childs belongings home in after they have died. This has been welcomed by bereavement teams who previously used "Hospital property bags" for this purpose.
In Bristol we are able to fund family days out after a bereavement.
We also provide hospitals and hospices with child friendly literature about death.
