Story

Following on from the fire walk several staff members completed last year, we have a fresh group of volunteers who are undertaking the challenge this year!

The staff who are taking part this year are Miss Beresford, Mr Brown, Mrs Thomas and Miss Marks. Each has to raise £120 to participate so if you would like to support this amazing event all donations, no matter how small, would be gratefully received.

During the first COVID-19 lockdown, many people were suddenly faced with new challenges and difficulties and no resources to cope; The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation was initially established as an emergency foodbank to support those facing unexpected financial hardship during this time. Since then, they have evolved into a multi-faceted charity with community at the heart of everything they do - providing a broad range of supportive welfare services to those in need.
