Story

Its been a pleasure to work for Oarsome Chance now for almost 2 years. Its had some ups and downs but we have some amazing young people coming to us to receive learning in a way that supports and suits them .. I must really like what we do as I swore I would never do a half ironman again! And I am also setting myself the target of doing it in under 6hours.... for those that don't know what is involved.... we have a 1900m (1.2mile) swim, a 90km (56miles) bike finished off with a 21km (13.1mile) run.... anything you can give in what I know are really hard times would be amazing... thank you. Below is a little more on the charity and what we do.

Oarsome Chance is an educational charity who provide intensive support for young people in the Gosport and Havant areas in Hampshire who are disengaged from education. They provide vocational skills training like carpentry, mechanics and bike recycling, along with outdoor activities like rowing, sailing and cycling. Their work with young people helps them Feel Safe, Belong and Achieve.
