Paul's fundraiser for Alzheimer's Research UK

London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·
Alzheimer's has cast a shadow over our family for over a decade, with my Aunt and Uncles all suffering from the disease. The illness steals the people you love from in front of you eyes, leaving only glimmers of who they once were.
Unfortunately my Mum received the diagnosis we all feared in April this year. I've accepted that all I can do is support my Mum along with the rest of my amazing family, but I have to channel my frustration and energy into something that will help fight this terrifying disease. For my Mum, and for the next generation of my family, I'm challenging myself to raise £3000 by running the London marathon in April next year in support of Alzheimer's Research UK.
I've run half marathons in the past but never had the guts to take on a full one. Now I have a reason. Please help me to reach my goal. Every step I take will be to help fund vital research.
