Story

Hello everyone,

In April I am running a half marathon in memory of my dear friend, John Martin. A few years ago, John received the devastating news that he had a Brain tumor, and that his diagnosis was ultimately terminal. From that day, John’s life and the lives of his family changed forever.

John passed away in August this year. It was an honor to know him and inspiring to watch him and his family face his diagnosis head-on. They spent amazing times together, creating cherished memories, some of which I was privileged to be a part of. During this challenging time, John and his wife never lost sight of others. They were incredibly supportive to my wife Jo and I through Jo’s ongoing journey with cancer. Their strength and kindness have left a lasting impact on us.

In honor of John’s memory and the incredible person he was, I am running this half marathon to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity. Your support will help continue the fight against this illness and provide assistance to families going through similar battles.

Please donate whatever you can. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Let’s come together to honor John and support those in need.

Thank you for your generosity and support
