Story

As the descendent of Campbeltown fishermen, I’ve long been a supporter of the RNLI. On 22nd October I am climbing the stairs up the Shard to save lives by taking part in the RNLI Tower Run. My great grandfather was lost at sea in an era the RNLI wasn’t available. So I feel a duty to help others avoid the same fate now that the RNLI is here.

Every pound and penny raised in from the RNLI Tower Run will go towards equipping our volunteer lifeboat crews with the essential training, kit, boats and materials required to continue our lifesaving mission for years to come.

By donating you will be making a valuable contribution to the RNLIs activity.

We don't receive government funding and so are really counting on your support to help meet support our volunte

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
