Story
Ann will celebrate her 100th birthday in October. Having been diagnosed with Macular disease 30 years ago, Ann has experience of what sight loss and the devastation it can cause and has been determined to do what she can do to help others in a similar position.
Exercise and keeping mobile has always been very important to Ann and is something Paul (one of the Managers at her care home, Poplars in Ruislip) supports her with. During their regular walks together, Paul came up with an idea to raise money for causes close to her heart.
Here is the plan! Anne will walk the equivalent distance of the London Marathon. This will be around 105 laps of the running track at King's College playing field in Ruislip.
Please support this soon-to-be 100 year old lady in her bid to help all those living with sight loss.
