First of all thank you for visiting my page. I am thrilled and excited to be running the London Marathon next April in aid of the Guide Dogs charity.

In order to see how I could best support this charity I spent a wonderful morning recently with Chloe and Lauren at the Guide Dogs regional training centre, Leamington Spa, where we also were also introduced to some beautiful dogs undergoing their training.

I believe that every individual deserves to live a life full of opportunities and independence. By sponsoring me in this challenging endeavour, you will be directly contributing to the invaluable work carried out by Guide Dogs in transforming the lives of those affected by visual impairments.

By supporting my participation in the London Marathon, you will not only be assisting in the vital funding of these guide dog programs but also promoting inclusivity and empowerment for those with visual impairments. Your sponsorship will directly contribute to the breeding, training, and ongoing support of these exceptional guide dogs, ensuring that they can continue to transform lives and provide a lifeline of support to those in need.

Every day, 250 more people join the 2 million already living with sight loss. This number is set to double by 2050. How your sponsorship could help:

£125 could buy a starter kit for a new guide dog owner, containing everything they need to start life with their new dog.

£451 could provide the parents of a child with a vision impairment with ten sessions of support.

£1000 could pay for an entire family to attend our Family weekend, where they can access specialist support and meet other families in similar situations.

Moreover, your sponsorship will serve as a powerful statement of compassion and kindness. Together, we can make a significant impact and bring about positive change in the lives of individuals who rely on the guidance and companionship of these remarkable guide dogs.
