Hi everyone, we are joining over 220 ordinary people from different churches across Bristol who will be wearing the red Love Running T-shirt on 19 May to run the Bristol 10k to raise money for some great charities.

We will raise money for projects in Bristol for homeless people, vulnerable women and those suffering food poverty and also International Justice Mission’s anti-online child exploitation work in the Philippines.

International Justice Mission is the largest anti-slavery organisation in the world. Love Running funds will be used to help free children exploited for online abuse in the Philippines. In 2022, one in 100 children in the Philippines were abused to create online sexual exploitation materials, usually consumed in the West.

Love Running aims to raise £50,000, but together, as donors and runners, we can smash this target - let’s have a go!

Getting across the finish line may involve some mild discomfort, but it will hopefully inspire us all to let love run to those who see little love at the moment.
