Story
Paul, is on a mission to tackle 93 miles hiking the west highland way ( with Floki the dog on some parts) to raise awareness for fertility Network UK.
Four years to date Paul and his wife have been trying for a family and now after one unsuccessful cycle of IVF they are now saving up for another to continue that journey.
"I've always wanted kids. I've always thought when I'm ready, this should be plain sailing. I've written books for kids, I've written animated series for kids. I am a big kid at heart and at 37 I'm so eager to become a dad, so finding out that I wouldn't be able to have them naturally has been a huge mental hurdle to jump over. With the help of fertility network UK, I have been able to move forward with my journey with some comfort that for me this journey is my new normal. For me taking actions as steps to help me along my journey has led to embarking on some challenging long distance hikes, the first one being the West Highland Way and hopefully raising awareness and funds for Fertility Network UK so more people can also benefit from this charity.
