Story

This September, 10 team members from our Milton Keynes branch are lacing up their running shoes and taking on the Bedford Half Marathon – all in support of dementia UK.

We’re not just running for the challenge (though it’s a big one!) – we’re running to make a difference. Every mile we cover is a step toward raising vital funds for dementia UK and achieving our site target of £10000 matched to our group target of £150000 raised....

Then later in September Paul Ashton our General Manager is participating in the Berlin Marathon on September 21st, 2025 to raise funds for Dementia UK. His target amount is £1,500. Any contribution you can make to my fundraising will be deeply appreciated.

Stay tuned for more events as we book through the year to continue to raise money for Dementia UK

the Thurlow Nunn Group of Companies will celebrate 150 years’ trading. This is a momentous achievement that the company is extremely proud of and delighted to celebrate. However, this milestone is approached with a sense of sadness as a pivotal figure in the company's remarkable growth will not be present John Thurlow. Sadly, this individual was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2019 and passed away on 8 June 2024. The family business meant everything to John. As his dementia progressed, he often found comfort in memories of their time in the office, the people they worked with, and the impact they made. In memory of John, we aim to raise money to support other families impacted by this devastating disease.
