Story

After sadly losing my wife Jill, in April 2023 through a heart attack which led to brain hypoxia she spent her last two days in the St Barnabas Hospice Lincoln. Prior to this Jill had spent ten days in Lincoln County Hospital. The care she received from both was amazing and we as a family will be forever grateful. The care, love and support given to us from all the staff was heart felt and a comfort to us all. With this mind I have decided to try and raise as much as possible for the St Barnabas Hospice. I am cycling from Lands End to John o Groats taking ten days to complete this challenge, it will cover approximately 1000 miles. I will be part of a group of twenty cyclists from Newark(Roger & Big Gaz) and Collingham(Paul C), starting on July 25th and hopefully completing it on August 3rd 2024.If you could donate any amount it would be gratefully received. This will go towards such a worthy charity. Thank you for taking time to read this and supporting St Barnabas Hospice. During the ride I will update my progress on this page and also Strava.
