Story
On Saturday 12th April, I’ll be joining a dedicated team of 40 incredible people—Youth Zone staff and supporters from Gough Group, The Student Energy Group, and Blackrook Academy—to take on the Snowdon Sunrise Walk. Setting off in the early hours, we’ll push ourselves to the summit, all to raise vital funds for The Way Youth Zone, the incredible charity I am proud to lead. At The Way, we're dedicated to providing young people with a safe and inspiring environment where they can discover their potential and achieve their dreams. Your generous donations will help support vital programmes and activities that empower youth, build their confidence, and offer them opportunities they might not otherwise have.
But we’re not doing this alone! Our young people have been so inspired by the challenge that they’re taking part in their own way. In the lead-up to the event, our junior members will climb the height of Scafell Pike, and our senior members will tackle the height of Ben Nevis—all on our Youth Zone climbing wall.
This challenge isn’t just about endurance—it’s about community, resilience, and giving young people access to life-changing opportunities. Every step, every climb, and every donation helps us continue to support Wolverhampton’s young people.
A huge thank you to everyone taking part and to those cheering us on. Please donate if you can—every penny makes a difference!
