FAST IN AID OF KBRT
KEVIN BELL REPATRIATION FUND
On the 4th of May at 6pm I will be taking part in a week long fast that will end on the 11th of May at 6pm to raise money for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund.
Basics of we are doing ⬇️
Simple - Eat absolutely NOTHING for a week.
What is allowed is water, black coffee ( no milk, sugar or sweeteners ) and herbal teas.
Some electrolytes are also ok
This is something I’ve done quite a bit and isn’t something I’ll be taking lightly, I have done lots of research into long fasts and I’m well prepared for the challenge.
Some of our staff have kindly offered to also take part on the last 24 hours to help me over the line, some are also taking part for longer ( just not sure who and for how many days )
We would love if some of our customers take part in the Fundraiser, it would be great for moral and awareness of what we are doing and what it is for, maybe it’s a case of simply tagging us if you are doing a 24 hour fast yourself?
Maybe a group of friends take part?
Maybe a group of work colleagues?
You also definitely don’t need to be a customer of KIS to take part, we want this as inclusive as possible, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never been to KIS before, if your living in America, Australia or anywhere else in the world, we just want as many people to take part as possible.
KBRT was founded out of a family tragedy when, in June 2013, Kevin Bell died suddenly in New York. Following an outpouring of support from Kevin’s friends, family and colleagues, a significant amount of funds were raised to repatriate his remains back to Ireland. As a permanent legacy to Kevin, the Bell family decided to use the funds to establish a charity to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation. Help comes in the form of financial support as well as advice and guidance on getting the remains of loved ones home as soon as possible.
We will have buckets in Kis for collecting cash 💰 and here is the online payment link 🔗 for anyone who wishes to donate that way ⬇️

Thank you for your support now for this and for everything you’ve done for us past, present and in the future 🙏
Thanks
