Story

After a successful return in 2022 where £13,500 was raised, ‘Fraserburgh Boxing Day Harbour Swim’ is returning on Tuesday 26th December 2023.

The lifeboats are run by volunteers, like my dad, Patrick, who has been a volunteer at Peterhead for 27 years! IIt’sa cause worth supporting, one some locals wouldnt be here without. Every little makes a difference.

We will swim 52-metre across Fraserburgh Harbour in the chilly North Sea to help raise funds for our neighbouring station mare known as the Broch .

All donations received will support the running of the lifeboat station in Fraserburgh.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
