Story
In a little over 2 weeks, I’ll be taking on the challenge to row across the North Sea as part of a 12-person team. We’ll be launching from Inverness in Scotland and rowing approximately 650kms across the notoriously wild and unpredictable North Sea to Stavanger on the west coast of Norway. We’ll be rowing continuously, day and night, in shifts of 3 hours on and 3 hours off until we reach our destination, which is estimated to take 7-8 days. I’ll be attempting this to help raise funds for the WWF.
Healthy oceans benefit the planet, people, prosperity, and peace. The oceans inspire and offer hope — for nature and people worldwide. Oceans are worth protecting, restoring, and nurturing.
The WWF takes an integrated approach to our oceans, combining place-based conservation work to create Nature-Positive Seascapes with global scale Markets and Blue Finance initiatives. And under Oceans Futures they incubate, develop, and launch new innovative programs at the intersection of climate change, ocean health, and peace and security.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
