The Twilight Walk London 2024 · 23 March 2024 ·

This iconic walk will see the community unite to take strides through the Capital, as we reflect, remember and raise awareness of brain tumours. Together, we can lead the way in accelerating cures and helping those diagnosed live longer and better.

Story

I am joining Helen Quaile to raise funds in memory of my friend Bill Quaile who was diagnosed with a Grade IV Glioblastoma in June 2023 and cruelly lost the war in January, just a month before his 60th birthday.

The diagnosis, treatment and care received over the last 7 months from the NHS was as good and speedy as it could have been. However, it is very apparent that there is a huge requirement for more research into brain tumours and the development of more effective treatments for all types.

I am therefore raising money (as much as possible) for The Brain Tumour Charity. The start is a 10km walk through London so, dig deep and pledge some ££ in Bill's memory.
