Story
As some of you may be aware a few years ago we received the life changing news that my Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. This disease impacts the nerves, stopping messages reaching the muscles that control how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. To this day, there is no known cure.
The MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) looks to fund research, improve care and provide support for people with MND and those impacted by this awful disease. In an attempt to give back, I will be running along the Thames Path in mid June from Reading to London (over 100km) in one go. I would greatly appreciate any support, 100% of which would go to the MNDA.
Getting involved: Since my Dad’s diagnosis, the support we have received from the MNDA, family and friends has meant that we have not felt alone in this fight. In this spirit, I will be posting at certain points along the route and will encourage anyone who wishes to join me to do so (ideally sporting something orange in aid of the MNDA)
